One of the many venues that we are missing right now is the Khidi club in Tbilisi, Georgia. Their record label has just released a second vinyl compilation which includes tracks from us, Oscar Mulero, Yanamaste, and Vulkanski. We have a few copies on our Bandcamp page: https://orphx.bandcamp.com/album/khidi-va-ii.
We recently had the pleasure of doing a remote jam with Speedy J, one of the artists that inspired us when we first began to explore techno many years ago. You can check out the full recording here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozlN2QBTw1w.
Earlier in the year, we joined Speedy J and Kangding Ray for a conversation on the Knob Twiddlers Hangout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OehRrI6hNPw. And Rich spoke to Alex from Pi Electronics on the Modal Analysis radio program about pandemic life and his new label Ekstasis: https://soundcloud.com/movement-radio-athens/modal-analysis-w-alex-314-feat-rich-oddie-23012021
Back in December, we did another online performance for the Noiseblast podcast from modular wizards Noise Engineering, along with an interview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKiOmZJTKQU. A higher quality audio recording of this 20 minute set is available here: https://orphx.bandcamp.com/track/sleep-of-reason
The first Ekstasis release, a compilation of live recordings from Ontario Hospital, is now available from Juno Records (www.juno.co.uk/artists/Ontario+Hospital/) and Triple Vision (www.triplevision.nl/release/ES01/), as well as directly from the Orphx Bandcamp: orphx.bandcamp.com/album/no-contact-live-archive-2011-2019
